Color / Honor Guard


Color/Honor Guard is a polished detail that emulates the high standards and traditions of the United States Marine Corps.​​​ 

The Detachment Color Guard presents colors at social events, celebrations, sporting events, church services, parades, and Veterans events.  

​​The Honor Guard may present the Colors, but their main purpose is to present a contingent to bear honors at ceremonies or Marine Corps Veteran funerals.  

All members of our Color and Honor Guard are Veterans of the United States Marine Corps. If you would like to request our services please contact us.


Marine Rose

​​Started by Marine Eddie Gallagher from New York, designed to parallel the VFW "Poppy" program to provide funds for detachments to assist veterans and youth and provide other services to the community.  

  • Health and comfort items for hospitalized veterans
  • Support programs such as bingo or holiday parties for  hospitalized or retired veterans in Retirement homes
  • Scholarships 
  • Assist youth programs 
  • Humanitarian Aid


Military Order of the Devil Dogs

 The military order of the Devil Dogs promotes good fellowship amongst the members of the different Marine Corps League Detachments. The Order provides amusement and entertainment at all gatherings of the League, when and where advisable, preserves and strengthens the principles and ideals of the League, and maintains true allegiance to the United States of America and its Constitution and laws. It fosters and extends American institutions of freedom and defends America against all enemies whatsoever. The Order is also very active in raising funds for different charities. 


Walk of Fame


Walk Of Fame.  ​​​Memorial pavers are displayed at the Flag Circle in the front of the building.  These pavers honor loved ones, both living and deceased who you want to be enshrined at our detachment and be remembered forever.

Each paver can get up to 4 lines engraved.  Pavers are 4" x 6" and the basic cost is $45. Additional options are available. Contact us today to purchase a paver!


Young Marines

 The mission of the Young Marines is to positively impact America's future by providing quality youth development programs for boys and girls that nurtures and develops its members into responsible citizens who enjoy and promote a healthy, drug-free lifestyle.

  •  To preserve the tradition, promote the interest, and perpetuate the history of the UNITED STATES MARINE CORPS.
  • To band those who are now serving the United States Marine Corps, those who have been honorably discharged from the Corps, those of other military services who are now or who have served in direct support of the Marines under conditions specified by the National Marine Corps League.
  • To fit it's members for the duties of citizenship and to encourage them to serve ably as citizens as they have served the Nation under arms.
  • To hold sacred the history and memory of the men and women who have given their lives to the Nation.
  • To foster love for the principles which they have supported by blood and valor since the founding of the Republic.
  • To maintain true allegiance to American institutions.
  • To create a bond of comradeship between those in service and those who have return to civilian life.
  • To aid voluntarily and to render assistance to all Marines as well to their widows and orphans.

 Regular Membership. Only persons who are serving or who have served honorably  for not less than ninety (90) days in the Marine Corps and persons who are serving or who have  served honorably in the Marine Corps Reserve and have earned no less than ninety (90) Reserve Retirement Credit Points shall be eligible. Navy Corpsman that have trained with Marine FMF units in excess of 90 days and earned the MC Device (claps) worn on the Service Ribbon and those who earn the Warfare Device authorized for FMF Corpsmen shall also be eligible for regular membership.    

Associate Member. Individuals not qualified for regular membership may be accepted for associate membership. Associate members shall not vote on election of officers, or hold an elective office. Required dues are the same as a regular membership.    

Honorary Member. The detachment may issue an honorary membership for extraordinary service to the nation, to the community, to the Marine Corps, or to the Marine.
